13:41 Iiris takes off and returns in some seconds
Seems there's still someone to be chased away. Maybe Ivo is fishing at the moment and not nearby.

That was what I also meant - they return in three years age - but ZK is only two years old :puzzled:
Owlie, I have read in different sources that they don't start the migration until "two or three years old". It seems, in many cases they return only in their third year, as Summi also wrote. But, as we can see, some enthusiastic youngsters rush home earlier and hurry things up with the "breeding" and all :D

Ivo is in the dead tree and called alerts.

The chick is working it’s way out of the shell (it’s not out yet), and chirping a lot.
Iiris, is super busy tending to the egg and watching out for the intruder Osprey.

It might be a long day.

Ivo, in case you find some spare time from chasing the intruder, please come to greet your kid and then go fishing. A fish tail part is enough.

Cessie, you were the first to see it out!

Empty nest allows a look on the newborn chick and the two eggs. Some seconds later, Iiris returns, walks very carefully around and sit down to warm her chick and the eggs. A very exciting time begins to observe the chicks hatching and hopefully growing up...
