The small one raises it's head for just a second, but next moment it falls down.. That large head is so heavy and (s)he is tired after the hatching.

It is interesting how Iiris did not allow Ivo to take over :whistling: He was standing there for quite a moment, but she seemed to want to take care of her treasures herself.

Yippee, Iiris and Ivo have their first chick in this new season. Cessie you are a lucky person to spottet it first. That little thing has quite a big head, no wonder Iiris is a proud moma. Good luck to both parents. :loveshower:

19:00 Ivo comes empty-handed, Iiris stands up and shows their kid.
Ivo makes sure that the baby is O.K., stays for a while and flies to the dead tree and is thinking what to do. 8-)

Either I'm too euphoric, or my eyes see twice. I was sure that I've have seen two little heads.

19:41 Ivo flies on the nest to check on Iiris and the chick :whistling:
Iiris in her silent and gentle voice has made it quite clear that a fish is highly needed, Ivo takes off at 19:42, fishing? :puzzled:

20:51 Ivo with fish but couldn't see properly what he has brought, it was half a fish.
Iiris hungrily eats herself and then begins to feed the chick.

Is there a hole in the left egg?

Please, could anyone make and post a close-up picture of the eggs at 20:57:00 because in the egg at the left there seems to be a big hole.

Hello Summi, I turned it back to the time at 8:57 PM. Let's hope that the egg next to Iiris, which looks a bit pushed in, a chick still containes.

Probably the last feeding from mom for today. The little one always falls down exhausted from the rich food, but the smell of fish is so strong that he has to gasp for another piece.
