Early in the morning
4:30 At first I thought where is the little one?
But there he is. On the back with the other parent

6:06 Little one rolls out of the feathers, gets a bite to eat, goes back, rolls out of the feathers and ends up in the water. Swims a little and then it crawls on the other parent's back.

14.46 - one chick was struggling a bit, eventually it pulled the other one over, so that it ended up in the water. The first chick happily climbed on the parent, the other one is left floating on the water, as it couldn't get back to the nest. First it was stuck under the straws and then perhaps cold or tired or both.

The parent goes to check but the chick is not climbing on the back, so the parent returns to the nest

I suspect it's dead indeed. The water must be quite cold and it's well over an hour now.
