ETHIOPIA - Great. The stork sent new data again. Although the dates are October 16, but we know it continued to fly south. The latest update is already from Ethiopia.

Last location is probably in flight over the landscape.
The stork flies southeast of Abala - the administrative center of Zone 2 of the Afar Region. This town has an elevation of 1465 meters above sea level.

From the Milicz nest, 3 young storks were equipped with transmitters. One of them is in Mali (5984) and the other has a position on October 13 in Egypt (5981).

Evening update - new data from young BS 5982 - already in KENYA
No young stork from this Polish project equipped with a transmitter in 2018, 2019 and this year did not spend the winter in Kenya.

the reservoir is one hafir dam - bath, drinking or searching for food (by low water level)

I read: "In Kenya it is (Solo: BS) regular between October and April but uncommon."
