MOROCCO - Guelmim-Oued Noun region (it includes southern Morocco and the northeastern corner of Western Sahara).
The stork flew through the Atlas Mountains west of its highest mountain, Toubkal
(4,169 m above sea level) and Parc National du Jbel Toubkal. The next day it flew over another high mountain, Lekst (2,359 m above sea level) and approached the Atlantic coast (near the town of Tiznit). Then it flew further south (southest). Its last location is on the power line pole (or right next to it) near the highway. In this place it is from 18:00 until the morning

.... Very many masts. But these poles are among the safer ones .... And the stork sent the location from 8 o'clock in the morning, not far from the night position. It seems to be oay. It flies on. I'll give the map tomorrow.

btw. for migrating birds are the mountainous areas of Lebanon the most dangerous; there are in Lebanon already laws and special police units to combat illegal hunting / killing of migratory birds and a very active, hard working in this field is the Association for Bird Conservation in Lebanon; youth work is also developing very well also with the help of experts from Poland - however, changes in people's thinking and behaviour take a long time
(after all, birds and other animals are killed also in Europe, even in officially organized, authorized hunting, so as not to mention illegal shooting and hunting, trapping, etc.)
