:hi: Hana,

my opinion - if we exclude devices failure, so unfortunately we can conclude the death of several young storks:
5753 (Dabrowa) - Oct 09/not far from the Syrian Lebanese border, 5971 (Zigód) - Oct 11/Egypt, Aswan area, 5981 (Milicz) - Oct 13/Egypt, South Sinay, 5751 (Dobrzany) - Oct 14/Egypt, Aswan area.

The reasons can be various - exhaustion, predation, but especially in the Nile river area we can not exclude catching by humans. 5981 (Milicz) could also fail to fly over the Strait of Suez.

5756 (Dabrowa) - November, 06: on the coast line is not good GSM coverage, and who know where can stork be in Eritrea or Ethiopia - we will see
5713 (Mragowo) - November, 09: here I am not more optimistic, but still we can by possible surprised
(last year it was CNIG 31 with the very long Pause, true?)

thank you Hana very much for good (and nice) overview :2thumbsup:

:hi: Solo, Purple probably had no signal in the desert and mountains. It's great that he's okay and flies on. I also think he will fly to Djoudj NP. It's probably a bird's paradise. Polish CNIG14 wintered there last year and this year it hurried there two months earlier
Thanks for news and photos from the area :2thumbsup:

I'm also not very optimistic about these storks.
Maybe they perished, maybe some just failed the transmitter, who knows ... I'd like to be surprised. I keep my fingers crossed for them.
CNIG31 flew to Ethiopia and only from there stopped sending messages ...
