Some days ago I have written an e-mail to Urmas and asked if he has any new messages about Karl II. He replied that Karl II has not sent any data since 23.10.2020. He suspected that new data can be seen if Karl II starts spring migration or moves into another wintering place. And that there are network free areas in Africa. It would be the same with Auda.

Certainly Karl II has long since arrived in his winter quarters. I suspect he is where also Karl has spent his winters: In the south of Sudan. I hope he is fine and enjoys his free time.
We must now wait until March.

Thank you very much, Sova and Anne, for the maps and all new data. :2thumbsup:

There's a Birdmap update for VEDRU

Previous data: 21.11.2020, distance 5239 km (+ 8 km in 1 day), same area, near Kfar Ruppin in Israel.
NEW data: 24.11.2020, distance 5256 km (+ 17 km in 3 days), same area, near Kfar Ruppin in Israel. In the moment of the birdmap update Vedru was on the Jordan site.

Image

As the green lines show, Vedru has not left this area in the last three days.
Image

Today he has left his usual paths and has explored the area a little bit more eastwards. :D
