good morning!

the green is back! our netmaster has fixed the problem that there was in the software. :2thumbsup:
there was something wrong and while he looked for the fault he had to change the forum software to the basic and simplest. now we are back with the old colours. :D

the nest and forest look the same as yesterday.

btw: i wasn't able to open the forum late yesterday evening, either. i think that the nestmaster must have been working with the software then.

about the camera working all night: have the boys filled the methanol tank without telling us about it? :puzzled:

i asked about this in the YT chat and MĀRIS replied in the DDF:
MĀRIS wrote: December 6th, 2020, 11:18 am Labdien!
Ziņas no Jāņa Ķuzes.

"Good afternoon!
News from Jānis Ķuze.

* The continuous operation of the live stream is most likely due to a software bug that Jānis has already written about - viewtopic.php? P = 265543 # p265543 and which is obviously still unresolved.

* Next week it is planned to release the former lamprey camera, which will also show the underwater world, in such a different place, and this time will be more prone to salmonids / salmon, trout, sea trout /."

program error, hmm? i bet Mr B left the camera open for the nights in order to be able to sleep long in the mornings.

ame, the first time I saw an wte hunting... successfully :headroll:
As always, they have no desire to fly or hunt near me. But I still took pictures. They're not good, but you can tell it's a adult WTE. Unfortunately he disappeared behind the reeds.

At 16:27, noise on the ground?
sounds of breaking branches. someone was probably walking on the ground under the nest.

Dec 8

good morning!

the Moon has been in the top left corner for a few nights now after midnight.
Image

this picture shows the sky map near the horizon at that time.
Image

Sonchik, i have watched the same stick for a long time, too.
it must have a fork on which it is swinging with a very solid grip.

i'll check the noise later in the evening.
edit: the noise sounded like breaking branches. someone was walking there.

8:17 footsteps. i took many pictures in a row and in two of them i saw a spot here.
Image

... but in the video i can't see anything. :puzzled: :slap:

i watched the video many times on big screen and i still can't see anything special there. that dark spot was probably a pixel popping randomly dark there. there were a lot of dark spots coming and going. it was still too dark to see much anything real.
