Yes, that is true but we are worried. LOL. Those of us who watch the nest, that is. We just hope this GHO doesn't decide to nest at Hellgate or worse, come back if there are chicks on the nest. And tonight, she was back. Eeeeek!

Ooops forgot to post this one. Iris laid her 2nd egg, yesterday morning, 6:41am on Monday, 10th of May, 2021.
She continues to alternate brooding with going fishing. She stayed on the eggs last night but left the nest alone, overnight, on the 9th.

Iris left the eggs alone all night and did not return until mid-morning. Before daylight, it snowed. The eggs are ruined, now. No hatch this year.
