And then there was the lichen ... 8-)
Both had their own ideas.

In the end, the lichen stick lands in the middle of the nest. :D

This sight reminds me a bit of Teo and his legendary red pennant. :whistling:

14:07 fish for Vita

One vita - one fish - one goal. :D
Teo's leg is getting longer and longer, but Vita continues to pull relentlessly on the object of her desire.

She leaves the nest over Teo - with fish, of course.

Hello chrisitz :hi:

Teo and Vita don't find any godparents here who would like to document their season.
I think it's a real shame and shameful, but I had already written at the beginning that I will / cannot document. Unfortunately, my attempts to initiate the thread were ruled out.

I warmly recommend visiting the neighboring forum.

Teo and Vita are 'in the best of hands' there. Member karliiina takes care of this nest there very, very warmly. :innocent:

How comforting ...

 Balistar, wow, what a story!
Thankful that Teo, took care of the nest and territory. I hope that the stranger Osprey, stays away, but it was a little nice to see a different ringed Osprey.
Thanks, for the story and pictures.
I hope that the forum picks up with some Osprey fans posting here, once the eggs start hatching.

 Cessie, you're welcome.
Unfortunately i couldn't read anything on the ring and i have no idea from which country the osprey was.
Yes, i also hope, that a few more contributers will fill this thread again, because i don't have the necessary time.
It's a pity because Teo and Vita are a lovably couple.

Yes, Balistar, I understand the time constraints. Polly, was trying to keep the forum moving along, but she has given up for now. Fingers crossed that people return here to post about this great pair of Ospreys.
The blue skies and puffy moving clouds were beautiful today in your pictures, Balistar. 8-)

Hello Osprey fans :hi:

It could have been a Finnish osprey, there were times when they ringed ospreys with a metal ring only and they were without any color-code ring. Ring readings from metal rings only are nearly impossible, even here at very good cameras.

As far as I know this system has changed meanwhile, they also get a yellow ring with black letters.
