- on July 12 the youngest/fourth chick (Benjamin) perished 25 day old (unknown reason)
- on July 16 the chicks got ring (7181,7182,7183) and the body was removed for examination
- on August 06 female Janika was last seen on the nest (feeding at 16.14 )

- on August 14 all three storklets got transmitter in the late evening (and huge amount of frozen fishes)

trio hatched on June 14 + 14 and 15 - they are today 61 and 60 day old

Good morning to Jögeva forest!

Our black storks have had an exciting night. They seem to recognize Urmas,
because at least our angry bird beak knocker seemed to have a lot to talk about.

Great that our storks got fish and transmitters,
thanks from me too to Urmas and his partners!!!

After the "transmitter operation" the storklets were given a huge cache of fish. They didn't try to eat initially, but at 3:56 two of them even had a fight for one fish despite the fact that many more were still available.
