Strong wind with the 3 black storks, but flight exercises in spite of everything.

redenhofer, thank you.
It happened so fast that they didn't quite understand what it was - they were not so fluffy and scared as most of the times earlier.

Looks very nice, we also have black stork decoy in our feeding placeAnne7 wrote: ↑August 18th, 2021, 12:12 pm Good morning, everyone.
Thanks for all pictures, videos and reporting!
Urmas sent the following information, yesterday night, regarding the feeder (a small pond) that was set up for Jan.
"Feeder of Black Stork 2 is not visited by Black Stork, but today there was seen Heron."
The BS decoy waits patiently for Jan.
Thank you very much, Urmas, for sharing this information!
I don't know if Jan has found this small pond in the meantime.
Judging by the type and size of fish he brought to the nest this morning, it could be he did.
But to be clear: I don't know.

16:36:17 Solo, storklet lost a feather (it was easy for it to pluck it) they don't lose their new feathers so easily?
BTW: 16:14 feeding. It was interesting to see that they weren't particularly hungry.
And my fast bird video brings no clarity. I have already put the best picture already here. A hawk..

- I have only the most basic information about bird feathers - I hope this is not a signal of some deeper problem
- fedding 16.14: I haven't watched today's videos yet (demanding day - mountain hike even with rain)
- very probably goshawk and it is simply lightning fast and actually flew above our storklets, right?
Liz, thank you very much for all today help

I wouldn't have believed that one can be happy about many healthy poops in a day!
So they must have been eating well though there has been only three feedings.

9:43 PMmadli9031 Well...chicks. Urmas..send the fish..I can't get the old ones.
9:44 PMmadli9031 I will get beaten up here.
9:45 PMmadli9031 U: Take them with a stick...
9:46 PMmadli9031 I will get beaten up anyway. He is coming to the edge to beat me.
9:46 PMmadli9031 U: but pouring the fish is complicated
9:47 PMmadli9031 I can get it done.
9:48 PMmadli9031 Or actually, I will pour them in the bucket myself.U: what would that give to you? The danger is that they break the bucket with their beak.
