around 16.15 really very high jumps and helicoptering by No1 :headroll:
16.17 No 2 too - great

(the nest "dips" here and there in the wind and the branches are blown by the wind for the camera)

So the poop has vanished from the storklet's plumage, I guess with rain - so it was not at all a problem with the feathers in that case. And my first thought was the same as Urmas' that the white stripes are signs of white feathers not yet fallen out of their baby plumage. Thank you Urmas for bothering to inform us! :2thumbsup:

:hi: Owlie,
to me wasn't problem the poop (Biker) and wasn't the white stripes (Anne)

I wrote about the frayed feathers

I wasn't thinking of that case - I admit not to follow conversation diligently, but I will remember that some one talked about the white color as a sign of disturbance in development. Maybe I misunderstood? ...

btw. Urmas "But think these whitish stripes are most probably residues of feather sheaths, which did not fall away, yet." ... The keratin sheath is to protect the newly grown feather while it is developing.

(my pic, so i thought it was for me)

Thank you for the correction, it was welcome :2thumbsup:
So it meant no failure in development but a normal process :shake:

Solo, I'm fascinated by "my " special shots. Absolutely cute! :2thumbsup: :loveshower:
Now it seems that there are no "last" fish on their table, and they can share the affectionate cuddled moments as a trio together.
