KNF Bald Eagles Louis & Anna

Asteria: Do you know where this nest is located? It does not say, not on YT video either. Is there any more info about the eagles? Are they experienced? The first feeding looked a bit clumsy.

Hello!

Rita, asteria :hi:
I am not addressed
 ..but

KNF is the abbreviation for Kisatchie National Forest, located in Louisiana

I found this in the description of the no longer current live stream link https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LHoQDIJLEgw

> Our Eagles names are Louis & Anna ( Louisiana the location of the nest ) this is their second year nesting at this location and the 3rd year they have retained the territory. last season (20-21) the pair had one chick whom name was Kisatchie which was voted on by the public and is the forest it fledged from <

Now the camera link changed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhVxNiGBFig

I also gave the link to this nest last year, I found it after all those tragedies in the other nests.

I am afraid that in Captiva both eggs DNH. Today is the 40th day for the second egg.

Two eggs

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvX4KElPq2k
The stream is down since a while, the cam shows highlights, it's not current. Hopefully they can it fixed soon.
A-48 lays regularly at the begin till middle february. She has a big problem with egg cracking, because the shells are often to thin. They are suppose it's a impact from DDT.
I like that pair very much.
