Seals are coming ashore down to the right, now. Lonesome George stretches & looks, but does not move there, yet. Ah, I see. Because they are joining him as more come in.

It could be "Georgette." I thought that big dark one that came up on the right wanted to challenge & fight, but no, just to sniff noses.

Ho, now most who came out are now going back in after only a short rest. And others come out.

It seems to have a light speckled coat though, which is typical of females -- but it is hard to know as their fur definitely lightens as it gets dry.

Sometimes I find that quite confusing, I think that would be a male, but if it turns around and shines the light on, it is again a question mark for me

today the sea seems to be in need of being painted the water is so amazing

the seals have to work so hard on land and they are so elegant in the water

I wonder if that may have some bearing on it. Do they plan where to go, or just somehow go there? They like to be together, but I have not seen many of them resting heads on each other, the way dogs or cats in a pile do.
