One just went off camera to the left -- makes me wonder if there are more over there.

I have seen a few go off cam to the left, so I think another group is over there.

I can just see the top of her back. Most this morning seem to be dark seals.

I just tried to count these -- just sort of part of the duty to help any seal scientists -- but when I got to 8 I was so confused about noses and flippers and... so I gave up.

LOL!-- that is how I get when I try to figure how many are bobbing in the water. Impossible to know for sure as they duck down & back up.

The gull seems to be pretty busy fishing just right off shore in front of us.

I have been noticing something dark at the right side in the far bunch of seals that sticks straight up. At first I thought it was someone's flipper. It has not moved since I began watching, however. Has some new log with a branch on it washed ashore, I wonder?

It is hard to see on the captures. Maybe one of the logs that has been on the beach rolled a bit and now we can see a bit of branch.

Sometimes I wish I could turn up the volume of the singing without turning up the volume of the wind and waves :slap:

I missed the little bird. I haven't seen any crows yet this morning, that is unusual. Have I simply not noticed?

They tend to be wherever the eagles are, so maybe the eagles are fishing far from here this morning.
