Female was gone shortly, little chick is already strong enough to lift its head.

First feeding has started, female with her back toward us, so not much to see but by the pulling movements female makes it is clearly a feeding.
Feeding done, female brings the leftover elsewhere.
Not totally clear, but looks like a second egg has a pip.
Female returns and with a happy wiggle covers chick and eggs.

Sorry for asking the 2nd time, but so far no one answered: is there no sound at this nest?
I miss the sound of the forest and of the chick and parents.

Nice to see the first hawklet hatched. Timea, I have sound, very lively birdlife around this nest. So check your settings.

Thank you Akle, first thing I did was checking my settings. But can not get any sound! Such a pity.
It might be because I am not a subscribed member of YouTube.
P.S. With head-phones on I hear all the sounds, wonderful. Then that might be the solution for me :-)

Female is calling (beautiful sound) several times. Wants food to feed her chick?
Then she leaves, and right after, male arrives. Looks at the chick who moved.

Soon female returns, carrying prey (might be a rest), male leaves 1 second before she landed on the nest.
She does not feed, but calls again and moves herself over chick and eggs.

Pip in 2nd egg also clearly visible, and maybe in the last egg also. Could not see that hole clearly.
Chick is resting on the pipped egg, the hole is at the top left.

Again feeding time. Little chick already tries to reach Mom's beak to get the food. It ate a lot, Mom brings away the rest.

Funny. Same thing happened as this morning after feeding. Mom flies back with the rest of the prey and starts feeding the chick again. Who really has had enough, so she stops. Did she forget she already fed it? :-)

Wonderful sound. Hear a Goshawk answering in the distance.
Several different sounds of calls.
Do not know what she is on about, but she is not happy!

She even leaves.

Leaving behind little one to wonder what all the fuss is about.
