Apparently Csenge was sitting high on the pylon watching her territory. I saw her 2 times flying around...she might have been hunting for some prey.

A szakemberek ki fogják venni a meddő tojásokat
Csengének április 20-ra kellett volna kiköltenie a tojásokat. Ez sajnos nem sikerült, bár jelenleg is kotlik. A tojásokból már nem fognak kikelni fiókák, de ő ezt nem tudja, ösztönei alapján cselekszik, ezért folytatja a kotlást. Egyik megfigyelőnk szerint az elmúlt évek előfordult, hogy több mint 50 napig ült a tojásain. A sikertelenség oka nagy valószínűséggel az, hogy kiöregedett, és már nem képes a szaporodásra. Az elmúlt években egyre kevesebb fiókát sikerült kiköltenie. Ez a természet rendje, hiszen ő már egy tizenöt év körüli madár lehet. (A szakértők szerint a kerecsenek nagyrésze nem éri meg ezt a kort.)
A szakértők arról tájékoztattak, hogy közeljövőben kiszedik és megvizsgálják a tojásokat. Így Csenge is felhagy majd a kotlással, és a hamarosan érkező kabasólymok is lehetőséget kapnak a költésre.

One of our observers said he had been sitting on his eggs for more than 50 days in recent years. The reason for the failure is most likely that it has aged and is no longer able to reproduce. He has managed to spend fewer and fewer chicks in recent years. This is the order of nature, as he may be a bird around the age of fifteen. (Experts say most of the squirrels don't reach that age.) Experts have informed them that the eggs will be taken out and examined in the near future. Thus, Csenge will also stop hatching, and the soon-to-arrive hawks will also have the opportunity to hatch.
