Good morning everyone.

9.19 female left with a loud scream. Desperate calls sounding from a distance -made by probably a Buzzard- were heard. Went on for several minutes.
Male protected the chicks in the meantime, he fled when Mom returned. By the length of the feeding I'm guessing she captured and fed a Buzzard chick. All 3 chicks ate very well.

Female covers her chicks with little twigs. Wondering if she wants to leave for some time.

For now she is staying, standing next to the nestbowl.

IceAge, I think I found a way. If I stop posting pictures from the video then I do not have to worry about the time anymore. Is that a good plan? Then I just post when I think something special is happening. With only text.

I often scroll back on YouTube because I can't watch the animals for 24 hours , that was the reason.
