Many thanks to everyone! :hi:

I'm so relieved to see a photo of Karl II at the fish basket. I was very worried that Karl II would not find support.
Kaia also knows that she can check the fish basket. Thanks for the pictures @Jo UK and Urmas.

Yes, it is good to see these pictures. Whenever Urmas sends us a picture either Juta or I will post it here.

16:11 Karl with food. again he had difficulties in regurgitating his load.
were there perches again, coming up the wrong way? i couldn't see... :puzzled:
the storklets stopped chirping at once after he flew out.

Urmas should bring easier fish in his basket. :whistling:

the storklets reacted to this bird but not very strongly. it looked like a hawk but it could have been a cuckoo. there are a plenty of them around.

Today, the storklets are 46, 40, 40 and 37 days old.
It was Bonus' 8th day on this nest.

There have been 6 feedings, 3 by Karl II and 3 by Kaia :2thumbsup:

OrniTrack information

Today Karl II has flown 114 km.
Battery level: 78%

Karl II spent the night near a stream, about 10 km from the nest.
He starts his working day around 04:20
He flies to the nearby stream and forages there until about 06:51
Next he flies along that stream to the lake where he was yesterday, at about 12,5 km from the nest. He stays in that area until about 09:50. He flies to the nest.

1. At 10:22 Karl II appears on the nest.

He flies to the brook where the fish basket is installed, at about 10 km from the nest. He is in and near that brook from about 11:00 until about 12:10

2. At 12:31 Karl II appears on the nest.

He flies back to the place where he was in the early morning, a stream at about 10 km from the nest, and next he visits both sides of the lake at about 12,5 km from the nest. He stays in that area until about 15:40. He flies to the nest.

3. At 16:11 Karl II appears on the nest.

He seems to have a little break near the nest until about 16:25
Next he flies back to the same lake at about 12,5 km from the nest. He stays in that area until about 17:41 and then flies on to another brook near another lake at about 18 km from the nest. There he searches for food until about 19:20. He then flies in an arc back to the previous lake, at about 12,5 km from the nest
At 20:36 (last known data) Karl II is still at that location.

Goodnight, everyone!
