7:36 Waba flew out
7:42 Bonus came home
7:42 Waba came in too

I don't think it's very important that they get breakfast right away. A day practicing flying skills wouldn't be bad

8:07 Voog flew out
8:07 Iks to the left
8:07 Iks landed below on the old nest

Good morning! :hi:

5.00
I happened to watch them at 5 o'clock this morning.
While everyone slept, our cuties were awake waiting for daylight. Bonus started looking for fish - and found some at the nest site. He ate two. Another step-sibling also found a fish. And while Bonus and the other sibling were fighting over fish #4, the third sibling just stole it.

(A german saying: "Wenn zwei sich streiten, freut sich der Dritte". "when two quarrel, the third rejoices.")

Basically, I have no idea what was brought. It was found found by Karl. I'm assuming it was amphibian based on his neck.

Out of curiosity
Are there any reasons to explain the chicks regurgitating the fish they ate earlier (on 15 Aug)?

tsang :hi:

They vomit when they are very stressed when humans or a bird of prey (white-tailed eagle, goshawk) come to the nest.

They also vomit if they have eaten too much. This has already been seen and documented in other nests. But they only do that when there is too much food. that's rather the exception
