Hellem, It's a pleasure. I love watching birds in nature without disturbing them.

Today I looked after "my white stork nest" I don't like being there anymore! It started with 4 chicks and ended with one. This one chick is still not fledged, although incubation started very early. That's sad!
and that in a federal state where very few people live. But the meadows and fields are dead land! Where the stork found food in the previous year is now all corn fields! many kilometers. .for the gas tank!

Yesterday, I spotted this European Pied Flycatcher (ficedula hypoleuca) when I was looking out of the window. In Bavaria, these birds are rated "NT" (near threatened) on the Red List. The quality of my photo is, uhm, far from 'good', but the bird was too far away, and I didn't dare to open the window.

Bea and Balistar,
I also have only the rear view of the fieldfare on photos.
but a goldfinch I had recently in the balcony box.
i will post the photo in the birds thread/conversations.
And... he had seen me
Tiptoeing through the apartment, camera fetched, through the uncleaned window pane, with mosquito net....
oooh why are the pictures so big!!!
on the mobile device I had not noticed it

Thank you, Balistar! I was really lucky and couldn't believe my eyes at first - a bird which before I had seen only on some nests in the Baltic states ....
