8:13 a raven is calling
8:32 a black woodpecker started calling
8:34 he is still calling
8:46:12 a bird is calling
ame you think is a jackdaw? I have many here and listen to them every day. It sounds like it, but is it? they travel in large groups

good morning Liz and all!
the black woodpecker called for a really long time.
8:46 voices of a jackdaw.
Liz, i think that was a jackdaw. the voice is so familiar to me.
hearing jackdaws here is a bit strange because usually they gather in big flocks in the summer when the young jackdaws have grown up. then the flocks roam around in the fields and make a lot of noise. (at our summerhouse we have huge flocks of jackdaws and crows. in August the stimmung (atmosphere) is like Hitchcock's Birds sometimes. )
so single jackdaws (or pairs perhaps) in this forest is a bit unusual. maybe they are looking for potential nesting places? they build their nests in hollows and they lived in forests before there were church towers and chimneys.
in the end of this clip two jackdaws talk to each other in different places.

good morning everyone!
thank you Liz!
it has been a noisy morning. it sounded somewhat windy and the wind rustled branches and there were also sounds like dripping water. there was engine or car noise and perhaps a machine (excavator?). some noise had to be made by wild boar: footsteps and breaking sticks and some voices, too, like at 6:53.
thank you Liz!

7:17 - 7:18 there were more wild boar voices. i
- i think that a lot of the noise this morning was made by the boar. now there's a constant humming in the background. that's probably traffic on the distant road. it's louder than normally. maybe the weather makes it louder, clouds on such height that noise travels well?

13:05:00 a raven flew to the top of the spruce on the right, and probably another to our top at the same time. two ravens are calling... are there two ravens on the spruce on the right? ...no.
13:07 rustling on our top. the raven probably turned.
13:07:04 the other raven flew from the spruce on the right to the nest. then both ravens away from our tree.
they flew by from left to right.
13:07:22 one landed on our top and the other flew to the spruce on the right 4 s later.
13:07:20 a raven to our top.
they keep calling...
13:08 a raven from the top to the top branch. the other raven flew by.
then both flew away. there were probably these two, no more, but these made a lot of noise.

15:29 more boar voices...
15:29:11 one boar walked by.
15:29:33 another.
15:29:37 third piggie.
15:29:51 - 15:30:08 fourth piggie!
- i think these had to be wild boar. sows probably.
15:40 boar voices, roaring.
they found each other. "hello girls! how are you doing?"

16:28 onward there were strange sounds or voices from far. it reminded me a little of raccoon dogs but it was monotonous, on a constant pitch and volume. the intensity and pitch it 'normal' raccoon dog's calls goes up and down all the time. i don't know what the noise was. maybe it was some machine far.
here's a sample.
16:51 - 16:54 there were breaks in the stream.
18:02 the camera went to sleep.

good morning and thank you Liz!
7:28 - 7:29 the roe deer barked.
the deer (or elk) were battling till about 7:50. also the car light twinkled on the left. it's strange: it stayed in one place for a long time. i have seen it do that a few times earlier, too.
