18:28:52 someone landed on the nest! in complete darkness. :slap:
18:31:57 a rustle.
18:38:24 again.
18:52:50 more rustling...
18:53:10 camera went off. too soon, darn. :slap: :D

6:58 a fox is barking

7:25 A loud car engine can be heard

7:30 I was right! Eagle is in the nest (arrival was 6:56? or was the eagle in the nest all night?? )I only heard noises in the nest. No landing. I was in the bathroom, so I don't remember the exact time

I'm always a little worried when eagles bring "hunter remains"

6:56 the eagle coughed three times (or made some such noise). the some rustling.
edit: before this i could not find any sounds of landing. the eagle was probably sleeping on the nest all night.


6:58 a fox barked, and perhaps a tawny owl called just before that (very far).

from now on we must have a bucket next to our computers so that we don't need to go anywhere. :mrgreen:

7:29 there was light enough to see that the eagle was standing in the centre of the nest with the head under wing, sleeping...
7:30 the eagle woke up, stretched wings and then lay down on the nest.
crows were up, too, and they called nearby.


7:39 the eagle jumped to the right branch.

i agree: that is probably Voldis. Milda never sits on that branch. she may sometimes make a short stop there.

7:57 a crash! in the forest. a tree broke?


8:05 the eagle pooped. that was a healthy big splash. :D


is it time for breakfast soon? :whistling:

8:12 crows called nearby... two crows flew a curve above the meadow high in the sky on the right side and called.

8:16 back into the nest. Milda is around? He is looking in that way . EDIT: ame, I heard big wing beating too! =8:16:00

8:16 Voldis jumped to the nest.
he dug the nest a little. then he looked around... and waited...

8:20:48 a bird flew by from right to left high in the sky. a crow probably.
8:21 Voldis flew out over the meadow to the forest in the back.
8:22 he called rather far.
