All!
19:57 the female gets up and flies away. I cannot hear any owl voices during her absence. But then, it has become quite windy and noisy in the the forest. Still, I don't think she's got any food from Mr. B.
20:04 she arrives back
20:20 oh no, it has begun to snow
19:58 Up & away
21:37 The weather's getting from bad to worse
23:59 no further events so far...

“Animals, like us, are living souls. They are not things. They are not objects. Neither are they human. Yet they mourn. They love. They dance. They suffer. They know the peaks and chasms of being.” (G. Kowalski) Caveat: Apart from this remarkable sentence I do not agree with his philosophies.

Mrs. B has rarely moved so far; no hooting could be heard outside; the weather is still terrible and the cam partly caked with snowflakes.

04:30 cam still buffering
I hope tomorrow is a nicer day (night)!

Good Morning! Will it be too cold for the eggs?

13:24:31 a great tit between others
it looks like they don't want that the Eagle owl is breeding there they seem very upset
13:27 they are gone, but I still alarm calling. That reminds me of Berlin. Many blackbirds have breed near my house. If they saw a cat, they behaved the same way. They were completely fearless and attacked the cat. crows were also attacked

Signing your acceptance, I was able to recall an excerpt from a page that I enjoyed reading:
GT:
This behavior is called hating in biology. As a group, the hating birds put enormous pressure on the potential enemy and will certainly fly attacks. It's not about hurting him in a targeted manner, but driving him away in the long term.
Hate is a threatening signal used against other species that might be dangerous as predators. Irenäus Eibl-Eibesfeldt – a student of Konrad Lorenz and head of the human ethology group at the Max Planck Institute for Behavioral Physiology – described behavior in the Outline of Comparative Behavioral Research (Piper, 1980, 4th ed.) in his chapter on threat signals in such a way that page 229
A separate category of defensive gestures are the so-called hate reactions, with which many songbirds in flocks attack birds of prey. With special hateful sounds, sometimes with mock attacks, they crowd the predator from all sides, which then usually withdraws.

All!
Thank you, Liz, for your reports and pics!
Also thanks Polly for your post on avian mobbing! Just today I have seen (on the Rigimets shore webcam) how a hooded crow mobbed a WTE; he fled when a few more crows arrived ready to join in.
19:18 the male is hooting nearby
19:19 Now this was soo sweet: the male arrived at the large branch with a prey, then hopped into the nestbox. When the female didn't grab it, he laid it down - onto her back! He got a "parting kiss" and left. She found the prey only when she moved, then she put it in the back of the nest.
19:55 the male is hooting nearby
19:59 the female gets up and flies out. Both can be heard.
20:06 the female gets back, sits a while on the board of the box, then covers the eggs.
20:14 night view comes on
19:19 the male has learned to bring food to the nest! I can't make out what it is - a chick? mainly white, with a dark back?
He dropped it on her back!

20:28 ooh-hu heard from nearby
20:29 the female gets up and flies out. Both can be heard "talking".
20:35 the female comes back and covers the eggs.
21:11 rustling can be heard and a twig breaking; the female listens.
22:36 rustling and scraping again; wild boars ploughing the ground?
22:44 male calling
23:31 something is running underneath, the female seems alarmed.

01:09 the female gets up and flies out. Both can be heard "talking" nearby.
01:11 mating
01:15 the female comes back and covers the eggs.
01:22-25 the male is hooting nearby, she does not answer.
02:08 the female grabs the stored pray from the back of the nest, gets up and flies out with it. Male and female can be heard nearby.
02:08 Is she going to eat it outside, or is she giving it back to him?
02:15 the female returns, rolls and covers the eggs. Has she eaten that pray already?
03:09 Shots! A loud shot, not far away.
03:10 Very strange, loud, croaking voice, rather like an old man's laugh.

All!
05:25 Mr. Bubo is calling... the female gets up and flies out. Both can be heard afterwards
05:29 the sound of Mr. Bubo's hooting comes nearer, hers not. Have they not found each other?
05:34 nothing more heard. Now she comes back to the nest.
06:46 the male is hooting, no reaction from her.
06:49 the camera switches to daylight mode.
06:55 the camera is zoomed in - thank you!
08:12 she calles out of the nest twice: ooh-huhuh!
... sleeping, turning, egg-rolling, preening time
13:38 Mr. Bubo is calling from a distance, she answers from the nest.
04:46 ...now she gets working again on this darned stick in front.
06:59 Mrs. B is looking snug and drowsy
14:15 Preening time
