As you see.. nothing is for sure
it's also likely, of course, that she laid it in the time when the camera wasn't working.

:hi: All,
Hello Liz!
Thank you for "finding" that third egg too, I half expected it to be an optical illusion on my part :D
Liz01 wrote: March 30th, 2023, 8:43 am ...we wouldn't have known about 3 eggs!
If we had never seen another egg... Imagine our utter astonishment if three (or even four) little heads would pop up over the nest rim from the known 2 eggs! :slap:

About possible timestamps: yes, I've re-played many of them in full time too, but there was never what you would expect beforehand as *pressing* or *hard breathing*. Could it be that generally later eggs just plop out more easily, and therefore unnoticed by us?
“Animals, like us, are living souls. They are not things. They are not objects. Neither are they human. Yet they mourn. They love. They dance. They suffer. They know the peaks and chasms of being.” (G. Kowalski) Caveat: Apart from this remarkable sentence I do not agree with his philosophies.

I think we should at least have seen signs. A hunched back.. But there was nothing to see. In the end she just stood and then preened herself.

Not changeable. At least we know that this egg was also laid in the expected time.

God evening All! :hi:

The transmission is bad tonight, the stream tottering along with breaks from a few seconds to several minutes, the rest is jumpy and often without sound. :bash:

On the other hand, all seems very quiet, and - up to midnight - Lady B. got only up twice or thrice for preening herself and/or rolling her eggs.

Btw., wouldn't it be nice to get names for Mr. and Mrs. Bubo? 8-)
