The leaves in Jan and Janika's nest look like the 3 little storks :sad: and two eyes watching over the three... sorry for so much nonsense. :blush:

Sadly, it was.
My guess is that there is now a bird of prey nest/perch spot somewhere nearby. Which is why this nest was not chosen by any of the appearing storks.
Every time they landed on the nest they began a defensive behavior. So, something they feel threatening set up camp near the nest, even if it is not an actual nest from another bird.
