Last night Omar installed night vision for the camera here and we used opportunity to work a bit without of cam view to the nest. Not in nest, but in nearest open place we together with Ülo installed mist net and stuffed WtE decoy in darkness. The aim was to trap female in this nest, who seems to be Greater Spotted Eagle. Female wanted to attack decoy in early morning, but noticed the net and only lightly touched the net. Later only flew over the net, if wanted to frighten enemy (decoy). Male was away that time, but if returned took over the defending duty and flew into net. We installed old transmitter just got back from Turkey and renewed lost left leg plastic ring (code you can read in stream, hopefully). Male has been ringed by Renno in 2013 about 20 km away as nestling of Lesser Spotted Eagle. Although, current measurements are of the upper limit of LSE male. So there may be some GSE blood from past. Blood sample is taken, but when it will be analysed, nobody knows. That smaller (further) impact is not so easy to determine, though.
Normally trapped adults return to the everyday feeding of chicks in next day, but here it occurred same day. Hope we will see also migration of this male. But peculiarities of female still stay foggy.

It is a pity that you could not catch the female. It would be very interesting to know what DNA she has.
Do you already know if CD is a male or a female?
