Although, this flight was rather a bit of a zigzag.

She was at 14:41 UTC still in flight (slowly, at 7 km/h) near Dolynka in the Cherkasy Oblast in Ukraine

Helen, there were no issues with the transmitter so far. And we lost contact to Karl II after he entered a region that we know from last year has bad or no connection. So, per se, this is all not out of the ordinary.

If, and that's what we are all hoping for, Karl II leaves southern Ukraine unscathed, we will certainly get a signal again shortly after and know where he is. Should we not get a signal over all of autumn / winter, that would be a really bad sign.

But let's not think about that. Three weeks at his stopover place isn't that irregular yet, and he may return to our view daily. :nod:

KARL II, September 25th

Unfortunately, we still have not received any new data.
I'm very sorry.

But there is no reason to despair yet.
In 2020, Karl II spent about 46 days in the Kherson Oblast.
In 2021, 41 days.
(That was in peacetime. The fields were irrigated and Karl II enjoyed the (rice?)fields in the Black Sea area.)
In 2022, Karl II left the war zone after about 15 days.
(He spent most of his stay on the floodplains of the Dnieper.)
