I don´t exactly know whether this news here is really new, but today was a change about Bonus in the OrniTrack Control Panel and when I checked and tried to make a tracker map it gave me one new data point, but only from 28. August

If I am not mistaken, the last tracker map for Bonus is this one here, from 26. August, after this no news about him

So the only thing this new tracker map from today shows, is that Bonus was still in Belarus at river Prypjat on 28.08., a bit southeast of Povchin :rolleyes:

Turkey is an immense country, and in some places very desolate. So it does quite often happen that our birds are out of reach over there.

This is unusual for that site so I will keep checking every 30 minutes.

Ornitrack ist back but we didn't get any data of birds.

Hello. Maybe it's a stupid question. As I understand correctly the transmitter is powered by the sun. If the battery is 0% and doesn't charge, is there something wrong with it?

Often the reason for not being able to charge is that the solar panel on the bird's backpack may be dirty or covered by feathers.
Our loss of data, today, is due to the data collection site being down.

Rasova is a commune in Constanța County, Northern Dobruja, Romania. It includes two villages: Rasova and Cochirleni.
The village of Rasova was the first capital of the Silistra Nouă County, which existed between 1878 and 1879.
