Great! Thanks Liz for the great and detailed documentation!!!!
:2thumbsup:

Well, I don't know what the cute tawny owl put on the table either.
Yesterday evening I heard the crows in the distance (documented 7:48 p.m.). It's rare when they rebel in absolute darkness...it's possible that the Tawnys were the reason. Martens are also possible.

The bird looks smaller in its "final state", but could it have been a corvid (crow)? A larger spring also appears. :puzzled:

Thanks again! :innocent:

Oh yeah! These are again calls with a lot of speed and pressure.
Vocal color could have been the same goshawk as last night.

It seems that despite the weather, the negotiations over the territory are moving into the next round.

16:07 Couple meeting?
Not local immediately but easy to hear.
16:12:48 Rustling
'14:02 'Gjak'
'14:14 Rustling... 'Gjak'
'14:28, '34 clear rustling -> H21?

I think the couple - at least one couple finds themselves here in the tree. :innocent:
Whether they stay for the night... it's dim but light enough to leave again.

16:44/45 Crows in alarm mode in distance
'48 near calls now

Hi Polly , Liz. :hi:

Thanks for your contributions. :2thumbsup:

I'm watching it right now, before it's lost: crack in the tree branches and a bird flying to the left of the trunk below (8:30:29) , (creek area - canal).

Hello Emiliano! :hi:

There are actually two.

I wouldn't say both are Goshawk but it's possible.

Yes, I have noticed it, and the tones and strength of yesterday and today seem to indicate that they may be starting with some zeal. Hopefully it's team H again.

Tawny owl with the sounds of it (continue more).
From 20:17 :innocent:

I like this reputation. :innocent:

I used to think only male tawny owls made this sound.
No, females do it too. But they sound higher.

'27 still calls...beautiful.
Courtship?

20:49:20/21 rustle
It feels exciting.
...

As curious as I am, I notice my tiredness.

Have a nice and interesting evening everyone! Either way.

11:39:13 There are also ki-ki-ki sounds of the goshawk. Today has been a good day.

We only need the appearance in the nest.

Good night :offtobed:

December 10th

Hello everyone! :hi:

The tawny owl stayed away from the nest, preferring to advertise outside.
His eerily beautiful calls

Even today there is a lot of hustle and bustle but no one can be seen in front of the camera. Except for a great tit...

Can be heard 09:51 - 54 ravens, first loudly near the nest tree, then further away with babble.

10:55/56 wren sings

10:09 Magpie (?), I think
The pillow is shaken from the upper branches and snow is blown onto the nest

12:16 sounds almost like a landing sound and crows nagging.
We only need the appearance in the nest.
I wouldn't have any objections. :2thumbsup:

So far there hasn't even been a call. Or I missed it.

But now! :2thumbsup:
15:17:11 -15 Two Goshawks at the same time approaching through the park with a loop and landed gallantly above in the tree.

Short chatter.

Oh, it's a shame, despite staring at the screen I couldn't see if and when the Goshawks left the tree again.
15:54 - 57 Blackbirds call warning

16:20:13 - 24 rustles in the tree

It's possible that at least one is still present.

18:38 Tawny is calling.
I like hearing them.

'41 now closer
'46 ...calls and calls
She bathes the entire area with her warm voice. :innocent:

20:24/25, '28 Crows can be heard in the distance.

Have a pleasant evening everyone!

Hello Emiliano, nice to have you back. :2thumbsup:

Would you also consider that it was Jay?
I think, it.
I'll have to check again but I think he can also be seen briefly to the right below the nest.

Thanks for the correction, Polly. :2thumbsup:

It does seem to be the jay in a good imitation. If the goshawk had been right there it would have rumbled.

There are times when the difference is very noticeable and other times very little.
In front of me and seeing the jay at about 7 or 8 meters there was no difference with the goshawk about 3 years ago just 3 km from home.

Greetings
