the unknown visitor was certainly the raccoon that sits upstairs and does its rounds almost every evening at this time.

She flew away with it. Maybe there are too many sharp stones and she also fought with the rabbit in the nest. I don't see any chance there anyway, since the raccoon is sitting up there. Maybe that's better that way
