the male tries to help her

I think the owner came back and pushed the intruder out of the nest? I hope so
The nest reminds me of Ozol and Zile's nest. From the beginning there was a fight for the nest

BS outside is calling
BS in nest is defending and calling . the other is sitting above
9:45 still calling from above
BS in nest reacts

9:48 Stork above was shaking the plumage

I have to take a closer look at this. So I know whether we have 2 females or 2 males
right now, I'm recording the event

OK, I assume two females. I was pretty brutal :slap:

11:38 one of them returns. all is calm on nest

Video of both attacks at once! it is cut to two minutes

April 11

This nest resembles a donut:
beautifully round and with a "hole" in the middle :D
though the sweetest sweets will hopefully soon be seen in the middle rather than on the ring

6.12

Approx 6.20 - 6.25 there was a little bird singing quite close, I don't know which bird, it was lovely singing.

Oh dear

13.54 mating, all was well until.....

14.08 start of few fierce fights on nest today between two males. The female fled.

The challenger has a dark beak, looks like it's the same one from April 10. The male of the couple has a brighter red beak.

The couple defended the nest when the intruder attacked at the first time. The intruder slammed right into the male of the couple and grabbed him by the neck. Both males went over bord, the female stayed in nest until the intruder came back aggressively. She flew off in a hurry, he followed her, it rather looked like he was 'going after her'. Then one male after the other came back to nest and the fights went on few more times, really fierce. In one fight they both had the other's beak in their beak like two Γ©pΓ©e fencers, in the last fight the intruder again had the other's neck in the beak so tightly and for so long. I had the impression as if the male of the couple could only wheeze. The challenger is a "neck-biter". Fights ended approx. 14.25.

15.11 one of the males came back to nest and is still there at night.
I think it is the male of the couple who mated with the female at 13.54, the one with the brighter red beak.
The female did not return to the nest so far. She came closer to the nest once at 14.11, saw the two males fighting on the nest, turned and flew away.

𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐒π₯ 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐑

Good Morning!

Edmund Rachinskis, YT Chat! confirms my observations. Thank you very much.
Now the male who arrived together with the female is in the nest.
Where is the female now? They fought hard. I hope everything is okay with her, and with the other female too!

Edmund Rachinskis:
After watching the events in the nest from 13:25 to 14:25, it seems to me that both birds of the chased pair returned to MK today.
First of all, she seems reserved, but from time to time she pokes MK with her beak, as before PT. I can't judge by appearance that it is different from PM.

After that, it is even more likely that PT returns with a vengeance (and jealousy of one). Lose first, even if you don't give up. A redder beak with a dark spot in the middle, dark front of the legs.

Then finally at 2:25 PM PT he still wins another round.
Most unclear about the female, but what would be the counterarguments that it's not the same PM?
Also later, as far as I'm concerned, 11.04. in the evening the bird in the nest looks like the same PT. The first, the male of the pair. A redder bill with darkening in the middle and dark front of the legs.

he is an excellent observer :2thumbsup:

Māris Strazds wrote to me: "At least 5 different birds so far (most likely, the very first ones that marked themselves temporarily were transit birds, which could be different every day, that's what they do, it's completely normal)."

that is, what we can see on the other nest too. I suspected it when the female completely changed her behavior. But the male is always the same
