- - -

Video to this event viewtopic.php?p=926754#p926754
15. May --- Another massive attack by an unknown unringed osprey viewtopic.php?p=927468#p927468

Beside the here mentioned attacks have been several more along the whole season, all ospreys were unringed, so no identification possible
Also a lot of shorter camera drop outs have happened repeatedly
No osprets this season

Is it still Iiris or not?

As far as I heard the male on the nest is without rings, so it is not ED Ivo ...

Egg laying dates have still to be confirmed by Kotkaklubi, I think the second one was laid on April 18th and a third should also be there .... but I´ll wait for exact details until I´ll add it to the main events for this season
And let´s cross our fingers that the stream will hold on!

I had just about given up hope of being able to watch this nest this year, but here we are with 3 eggs!
And this seems to be Iiris?
Has anyone seen Ivo?

Here the first glimpse of the male just a moment ago (12:42 Estonian time).

Unfortunately I think he took his fish with him and took off and left our mum (I think Iiris) without food. EDIT: Or was it the right male?

Nice to see someone "old" who has found the cam

Sorry. I thought he flew off. So Iiris got a nice lunch and he took over incubation. I follow two different cams and am not aware.

At least I caught a pic of them, when capturing a pic you don't register everything

Btw I think there are fine pictures of Iiris on the page #6 year 2020 where the comparison in incubation position is easy to do

Fish delivery, female is off with it, male incubates
Left side is the female (I tend to think it is still Iiris), right side the new male
They have different dark/bright feather pattern on their heads upside, the new male´s feathers are darker at this spot
Hm, not only on the head, it looks like he has all in all a bit darker feathers ....
