Maybe another male in the neighbourhood.
Kergu touched the branches of the nest edge as he sang and watched.

12:02/03 He flies up into the tree.

14:39 Kergu is here and sings.
14:40 And he is away. He's up in the tree.

14:59 He is in the nest and sings.

16:23 Kergu flies away.

20:18 Kergu is at home. Short singing,

07:23 He is back and sings.

09:10 Kergu did some nest maintenance. He hasn't fetched any new nesting material yet.



09:51 healthy ps, short singing and sit down.

10:20 He stands up, shakes out his feathers and sings.
Kergu is watching someone.

10:23 He flies away.

Kergu flies past the nest and lands on the right.


11:20 He is back and sings and sings.
11:39 Kergu flies away.

No singing.

This morning Kergu fetched some nesting material.





He sings his song a few times.
09:22 Kergu flies to a nearby tree. He sings his song there.

11:39 Kergu is back and sings a long song.



Anyone there? He observes.



11:43 He flies away.

11:44 Kergu is back again.
As he flies to the nest, a second shadow can be seen.



11:45 Is Kergu defending?

Someone is here! Kergu sits down and stands up. Singing.
The stranger sits above the nest in the tree. Kergu sings and sits in the nest again.

11:53 Kergu stands up and sings.
11:53:52 The stranger does ps.

11:54:00 The shadow flies away and Kergu also flies away and he come back.

He keeps down for several minutes without making noise, but carefully watches the other BS.

At almost 11:55, Kergu is already back on the nest.
He lands like a helicopter, gliding down vertically between the branches.


He calls and calls...


... and is off again...

Kergu did it all at once when he spread his wings and wanted to stand and sit at the same time.
You could tell he was so excited that his white underfeathers suddenly became longer than his wings are.

Kergu collected a lot of fresh moss in the morning and worked on the nest.



He also brought branches and wet grass.
