i'm very happy to see that a female seems interested in Kergu.
Unfortunately i can't contribute this year, but i'm following your documentation and now and then also the live stream. So, just a comment about an observation i made concerning the visit of the female:

At around 13:23 before Kergu sits down, you can hear the female singing with him briefly. So, she is interested for sure. Just shy.

I heard her, too.

13:15 the stranger flies up into the tree.
13:22 Kergu comes back. He sings beautiful long song.

(perhaps she has seen Kergu coming flying towards the nest ?)
13.22.51 shadow seen flying from left to the right (female or Kergu)
13.22.53 Kergu enters the nest from the right, singing
13.22.54 stranger female flies in from the right in an arc (seen by her shadow) - while Kergu is singing
13.22.57 she lands somewhere up on the tree (seen by her shadow) - while Kergu is singing
13.23.02 she replies to him - starts singing softly
13.23.12 Kergu sits down

13.40.31 she flies away to the left (seen by her shadow)

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Kergu will have a girlfriend or even a new love (?) this summer.

Kergu spent last night away from the nest again.

He preened himself, sat down in the nest briefly and rested.

Yes, I hope the female and Kergu find each other somewhere.
But I think they know the same feeding grounds. For that reason alone, their paths will cross.
