Just found out the Bittern camera is back!

Yes!!! :shake:
Let's hope the all goes well this year

It's time this nest got it's own space in the list (with the right date). It is so hard to find now in all these sub-sub-sub threads...

Tiešraidē vērojamā lielā dumpja ligzda atrasta 14. aprīlī. Atrašanas brīdī ligzdā bija piecas olas. Spriežot pēc olu aizperētības, dējums pabeigts pavisam nesen, jo trīs olas atrašanas brīdī bija svaigas, bet divām vērojamas aizperētības sākuma stadijas. Kamera pie ligzdas uzstādīta 16. aprīlī.
Ligzdas kamera uzstādīta Latvijas Dabas fondam sadarbojoties ar Latvijas Ornitoloģijas biedrības Kandavas reģionālo grupu Zemītes pagastā. Ligzdas meklēšanā piedalījās Ieva Vavilova un Jānis Reihmanis, bet neatsveramu palīdzību šajā darbā sniedza Ivo Dinsbergs. Kameras sistēmu uzstādīja Jānis Rudzītis, Artūrs Laubergs un Jānis Reihmanis.

GT:
The Eurasian bittern (Botaurus stellaris) nest, which can be seen live, was found on April 14. At the time of discovery, there were five eggs in the nest. Judging by the hatching of the eggs, the laying was completed very recently, as three of the eggs were fresh at the time of discovery, while two were in the early stages of hatching. The camera was installed at the nest on April 16.
The nest camera was installed by the Latvian Foundation for Nature in cooperation with the Kandava regional group of the Latvian Ornithological Society in Zemītes parish. Ieva Vavilova and Jānis Reihmanis participated in the search for the nest, but Ivo Dinsbergs provided invaluable assistance in this work. The camera system was installed by Jānis Rudzītis, Artūrs Laubergs and Jānis Reihmanis.
