13.54 mating, all was well until.....

14.08 start of few fierce fights on nest today between two males. The female fled.

The challenger has a dark beak, looks like it's the same one from April 10. The male of the couple has a brighter red beak.

The couple defended the nest when the intruder attacked at the first time. The intruder slammed right into the male of the couple and grabbed him by the neck. Both males went over bord, the female stayed in nest until the intruder came back aggressively. She flew off in a hurry, he followed her, it rather looked like he was 'going after her'. Then one male after the other came back to nest and the fights went on few more times, really fierce. In one fight they both had the other's beak in their beak like two épée fencers, in the last fight the intruder again had the other's neck in the beak so tightly and for so long. I had the impression as if the male of the couple could only wheeze. The challenger is a "neck-biter". Fights ended approx. 14.25.

15.11 one of the males came back to nest and is still there at night.
I think it is the male of the couple who mated with the female at 13.54, the one with the brighter red beak.
The female did not return to the nest so far. She came closer to the nest once at 14.11, saw the two males fighting on the nest, turned and flew away.
