6:59 Zorro brought the tail part of a big fish.
7:00 Milda got up and
7:01:12 she flew out.
7:01:20 sh landed on the Observation Oak. she called there.
7:02 Zorro covered the chicks.

7:24:26 Milda took off from the Observation Oak and flew to the left over the Swan Pond.

7:37 two little birds visited Zorro. at least one of them was a great tit.

7:52 the chicks began to peek from under Zorro's breast...
he got up and took the fish and began to eat himself. he ate the backbone and other big bones and fins. they aren't baby food. chicks were watching...
7:58:51 the small hit the big.
7:59:13 again.
7:59:31 again. each time the big looked surprised like asking "what?"
7:59:57 the big gave the small a big smack on the head.
the small seems to be the more aggressive one of them but the bigger can also defend herself.
8:00 Zorro finished eating and covered the babies.

8:39:45 two swans took off from the lake and flew in loops above the lake.
they took 1 and ½ rounds.
then they flew away.

nothing... he covers the eaglets

8:45 Zorro nibbled the fish... for a moment it looked as if he was planning to start feeding... but then he gave up the idea if he had that.
8:49 he was picking the fish again.

9:00 Zorro rolled the chick. both ½ eggshells are still on the nest.


9:08 Zorro called many times....
is Milda somewhere on the left? he is looking there. at times the feathers on his back between his shoulders were raised. that is not a friendly sign...

i need breakfast...

9:24 Zorro called ka-ka-ka. Milda flew in with a spruce twig. she took a fish tail and ate it.
9:27 Zorro got up, shook his wings and flew out.

9:27 Milda began feeding the babies.
9:30 she stepped to stand in front of them.

it seems that both are eating.
coffee is dripping...
9:33 Milda finished feeding.

10:22 a little bird was entertaining Milda, talking... hawfinch voices?
10:23:03 two little birds flew away plus one more.

10:58 Milda got up and made yoga.
she began feeding. both chicks ate.
11:05 feeding over. the small started to quarrel with the big one and got punished.

crow's calls
11:20 an unwanted guest to the top. Milda calls. the crow calls back. she is on the top.
11:25:25 the crow flew away.


they probably know perfectly well about the happy family event here but there is also another attraction on the nest: fish.

11:59 Milda got up and shook her feathers.
then feeding.
12:01:40 the big hit the small (i didn't see more incidents; i don't want to see). i think that both ate, however.
12:06 feeding over. Milda covered the chicks.

12:54 Zorro brought fish. he flew high in sky in the top left corner (but not from FM? he seemed to curve from the right from behind the trunk. )
both he and Milda looked at the fish and they looked around...
