The Raven Returns...

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Iris and her new mate (we think) took off, most likely for a waterway called Rattlesnake Creek. A lot of the Ospreys go that way, up-river, to fish when fishing is difficult from extra water flowing in the Clark Fork River at this time of year. Sometimes, the winters are very harsh and dump a lot of extra snow on the mountains which causes flooding or at least a lot of rapid water in the Clark Fork and other areas in Montana and this makes fishing almost impossible in those rivers. But Rattlesnake Creek is smaller, more narrow and not as deep and the Osprey can see the fish and catch them much easier. So that's where everyone thinks they went. They'll probably go back, later on. But right now, they're back. YAY!

Still no fish pass off to Iris or at least on the nest. The male seems to be off on his own, exploring the river.

Iris has a fish and the new male wants it. Enough to have a fish fight over it!
