10:54 an eagle flew over the lake. away from the top or by the top?
Liz, did you hear the eagle landing on the top? i didn't... :puzzled:

thank you Liz!

10:53:11 the parent flew to the top. the eaglets looked up...
10:54:28 the parent flew away over the lake and seemed to fly straight to the direction of Fish Market 2.

1:56 the eaglets got up and made some wing exercises. then they had a little conflict.
then they preened for a while.

11:19 a fish by Milda?
ankles are thick ...? :puzzled:
began to feed the eaglets with the tail towards us....
the feathers were rather light compared to Milda who was soaking wet when she left.

edit: i think it was Zorro after all.
after the feeding the profile with light eyebrows.
Image

the tail marks are Zorro's.

11:28 feeding is over. Milda flew out to the right- EDIT: it's Zorro! see ame's confirmation below. thank you!
Personally, I have no idea. I need more to be sure. I haven't observed either them as closely as ame!

Milda's tail has not been very clear recently. now after all this rain it's certainly not clean either.
edit: now i watched the recording of the delivery and feeding and departure especially. i think the it was Zorro after all.

14:41 a very wet Milda flew home.
just before that a pied flycatcher began to sing! that was probably the first time here in this spring.
Milda began to pull up sticks in the rear rim...
she found something edible on the right side. all are competing of it... but no-one could swallow it. it's a large flat old bone..? :puzzled:
i think the bones had to be some old dry hard bones of a fish head, gill covers and such.
Milda managed to break them enough so that they could eat them.

14:48 Milda found another old bone on the rear right. that looked like a thin leg with actually two bones and a joint.
a bone-thing dropped there some time ago (a week ago or even more?). Milda tried then to pick it up but she failed. now she got it up.
that was easier to eat.

that was a pantry cleaning meal. bad fishing today.

14:54 bones eaten. Milda searched for more left-overs... she found no more. then she worked with sticks and twigs in the back of the nest.
14:55:31 Leo pooped.
14:56:17 Neo pooped.

it started to rain more.
