Oh, wow. Beautiful sunset! Thank you, Made, for keeping an eye on them. That's was one big fish on the previous page!

I noticed that yesterday a weird thing happened - the fix camera suddenly turned right a little bit. Probably one cormorant tried to land on it and this caused the camera to turn. But it was also very windy that day. The new viewing angle is not too bad also, but I still hope it won't move any more because the point of the fixed camera was to monitor some nests from the beginning to the end (and also to have a back-up camera in case something bad happens with primary camera).

Here is an old behind-the-scenes image from a when the fixed camera was set up:

Thanks, Kunter!

The owners of the nearest nest have their own perching branch, but sometimes :gathering: it is not enough; one was already caught on camera here viewtopic.php?p=954971#p954971

16:46 May 18 ... the branch.. this time OK
Image

The live-streem from the püsikaamera flows with long interruptions. Do you have continuous camera recordings when there is no live broadcast?

It's not smooth with the camera, but life in the top nest also has its .. sides

The first lady (tagged *) was like this - left side 13:27 - before the brooding shift and like this - right side 19:40 - after the shift. Hopefully everything could be washed off, but she didn't appear that night (May 17) and the next day`s livestream is interrupted, so some of the previous events can still be viewed in archive

18:25 last hit… the previous was at 16:49:53 and 17:09:47.. but she doesn`t have so much to poop (17:10:05)
Image

The great thing about a püsikaamera is the constant chirping of little ones :bounce:

Oh, I also noticed something new that day..

4:27 ..the way the camera's light mode switches has changed, this happens while a seagull is landing

And so - May 16

The day was indeed windy, with rain and no sunset show.
