There were some moments with freezing pictures during the duckling-delivery, I hope we won´t have a camera dropout because of the bad weather and empty battery .... this weather is not good for solar-panel powered cams

Bea, I've noticed it too and am keeping my fingers crossed. The sun is shining at the moment.

Hello everyone :hi:

I think it is time to find a name for our male here, Urmas wrote that he has no name yet and that it is up to the forum to find a name for him.
In case the plans to trap, ring and fit him with a transmitter will become reality, he will also appear on the birdmap and we can´t let him stand there as 'Milda´s mate' or 'the male'

We are only very few active participants here in the LSE topic, how shall we proceed? Ideas and suggestions are welcome.

Have a nice Sunday all

Milda´s mate delivered a rodent (rat?) and Milda flies out for supper, the male stays on the eggs

I am wondering whether this brownish bud will become a problem for our sight, when it starts to defold its needles :?:

Milda returned at 14:13, male out, MIlda back on the eggs

:hi: Bea!
I have no clue how to install a name vote in this thread. - So far, we've got one proposal: Madis.- We could shorten the process and ask: "Any objections? If so, post until <date>. (But I don't know if Estonians would be fine with such a mode of name 'finding' ?)

Whoever manages the pair should name it.
Thanks for your work. :innocent:
