Hello , Polly
and everyone.
5:00 a 13:00
5:02 Chickens lying down, they look like male and female.
Occasionally they flap their wings and show their feathers.
6:10 Mona comes in, she also went out to the next tree and came back.
The chicks nap, move around, play with the mother's tail (7:18), squeak and
( 7:18 ) , screeching, probably begging for food.
11:36 Miks leaves a prey in the nest and goes away, a chick catches it, but Mona arrives
and gives it away.
but Mona arrives and shares, they fight for every morsel.
11:44 Mona leaves and comes back with a spruce branch.
One of the chickens has a small branch hooked on it
and was with her for a while.
The chickens are still calling, they haven't had their fill of hunger.
hunger they have.

Hello, Polly , Sova and everyone.
Prey:
11:36 Miks in the nest and Mona feeds.
20:15 Miks in the nest and the chicks fight over it, there's some fighting between them. They throw some of the prey but don't really eat until Mona comes in late and distributes the food (21:45).
Good night.
I hope everything went well today.

Good night,
Polly , everyone.
You've had better luck with food today. Miks brought four prey and Mona a large one.
There were no fights, and they've gotten some exercise, but mostly they've rested. They're three weeks old.
The female brought some pine branches to the nest.
See you tomorrow
Polly

Hello @sova (thanks so much for your wishes) and Emiliano, thanks again for your great work!
A while ago, the siblings looked pretty much the same. Since then, the younger chick has caught up a lot. I'm quite happy about that. However, I'm surprised that the male chick still dominates his now stronger sister.
That said, there are also affectionate moments. It was very nice to see on June 2nd.
The short maneuvers usually occur during feeding situations, but also out of nowhere.
Yesterday morning:
Both are lying together when the boy bullies the girl again.

Yes, you're absolutely right.... they look like male and female.

Good morning everyone!
03:59 Mona leaves the nest very early in the morning and returns with food for her children.
She brought a similar prey the day before. It appears to be a larger bird with a longer neck.

The siblings are peaceful and hungry. The food is being completely consumed.
Mona begins nest work and carries the half-dried pine branch to another location.

And the little Boy always keeps an eye on his mother's activities...

07:09 Mona leaves the nest.

The siblings lie side by side, completely content.

They aren't even interested in the small amount of food Miks brought.
Mom, on the other hand, is greeted with enthusiasm. The boy noticed her arrival even before Mona was visible to us.

Mona pulls out the food, and her siblings happily accept.

The nest is dug up, and Mona leaves the field to her little darlings.

The little ones are making tremendous progress in their feather development.

14:44 Mona enters the nest, bringing a twig.

Mik's food is distributed among her siblings, and Mona leaves the nest again.

Absolute relaxation, only interrupted when Mik brings food into the nest.

17:03 And there's no doubt who it belongs to.
The little one covers and defends it. Although his sister makes no attempt to claim the food.

18:42 Miks brings more food, which turns out to be a squirrel.

Miks has prepared it well, even plucking its tail.
The girl can have it.

The siblings remain quarrel-free.

The girl is allowed to pluck her brother's feathers without him pecking her. And she is allowed to continue "playing" with the food.

22:39 Mona returns to the nest late. Her children gave no reason to arrive early (I continue to assume that Mona usually stays close to the nest).

The squirrel is fed, and things quiet down in the nest...

Hello, Polly
All
12:16 - 22:00
The difference in the plumage development of the two chicks is very obvious. They are just over a day apart but the male is going faster due to his smaller size.
Feeding :
12:48 They take turns on their own, Mona does not appear although she is certainly not far away and watches them from a distance.
( At 18:21 there was a small fight between them ).
19:16 and 19:25, two dams almost in a row brought by Miks and Mona . In the first one they ate something alone but then Mona divided the food.
Good evening
