Hello fireblade
Thank you for posting your Stream Catcher results! The video is very clear, and the sound of the blackbird seems to be as loud as it should be.

The picture below was also taken with this programme. I think there is no difference between the VLC Player and the Stream Catcher concerning the quality of images and videos. To adjust the frame before recording or taking a photo is a bit unaccostumed (compared with VLC). But on the other hand, the additional option which allows to record only the sound track is very nice.

Hello PamUK

You need a photobucket (or similar) account first if you want to do this.
ame wrote a good explanation. Please click at the link below and scroll down the page to find it.

Good morning / good evening! I was able to look at cams before the sun sets in Estonia. There is lots of roaring wind, but also some nice birdsong. But no eagles today, apparently.

Image

I miss Linda & Sulev & wish I could see them to compare their behaviors with the USA bald eagles' behaviors as they raise their 3 little chicks. From what I see on the cam in Decorah, the two species are very similar, just look a little different.

And welcome to Dennis. I enjoy reading your stories of the eagles & wildlife in your area, & I can understand how you write it quite well.

April 10th: Good morning! :hi:
it's sunny and rather windy today. the wind is striking the mike rather loudly so it is difficult to hear which birds there are singing. a snipe is calling there monotonously tik-ko tik-ko tik-ko tik-ko.....for minutes without a break. then i think i heard a caffinch and a blackbird and a songthrush...

it seems to be a beautiful evening in the forest, with birds like blackbird and other thrushes dinging there. it's not windy any more so that tha birds can be heard.
... but no-one has been to the nest i guess..... :faint:

....as far as i have been able to see it's been raining sleet all day so far.... :slap:
this is a recording which i made at 10.17. the rain hasn't stopped the birds from singing actively.

on the forest floor behind the nest big puddles of water are forming.

the rain has seized in the afternoon. this cloudy weather makes them believe it's still morning and the birds go on singing in the forest.
