Video of Kaupo's singing and the sudden hail storm.

There is a problem with the router. That's why the stream stops so often. They want to fix it ..

the same as last year.... Kaupo is not a great nest builder. Last year the first egg was laid and he only has brought a bunch moss. I thought the eggs would all fall out of the nest.

Kaupo the lazy man

Wow, already the first egg! That was fast! :D No builded nest, but an egg!
Nice, that the storks now build the nest around the egg.

Liz, thanx.
So the previous owner(s) rebuild the nest after previous winters :whistling:
Liz01 wrote: April 2nd, 2019, 6:52 am...That's when I thought she would not brood here. she looked like, she did think that the nest would not be safe. Then I remembered that this nest was not build again and again by Kaupo and Gaja. That was another couple.

Good evening everyone,

Liz, many thanks for todays reports and the marvellous pictures, also for the videos!
Solo, thanks for reporting!
Our Kaupo is such a nice guy. The pictures when he probably saw a female stork passing by (I think it could only have been a female), are really touching.
Therefore two more pictures from this moment, taken from Liz' video.

I so wish that he finds a female, at the best Gaja. I feel already sorry for him, because he's so alone. Hopefully he will not have to suffer the fate of the male stork in the Latvian nest of 2017, who remained alone throughout the season. :2thumbsup:

Kaupo stays again for the night, 20:39

Good night!

I'm pretty disappointed with this camera. She works incredibly bad. It would be interesting to document how this nest is being restored.
