So far I haven't succeeded to see the eagles on the nest, but I can see that they do work on it, cushion added to the bowl

Around 8:05 cam time there was a visitor, maybe a marten, on the left side rails, I didn't manage to capture in pictureIt is sometimes possible to hear shots from hunting near the nest, but outside the Bird Protection Foundation's reserve and the cordoned off zone around the nest. Hopefully this is what some have heard this morning 23.02.2021.
Her is my "marten"The squirrel may just be random in the nest, but it can very well breed further down the nest. Last year, a pair of Ring Doves had their nest further down in the eagle's nest, quite close to the microphone. It is not uncommon for other birds to find shelter for their nests in eagle nests. On the one hand, the nest is a huge pile of kvass with many possibilities for small birds to settle there, and on the other hand, the eagles provide good protection against birds and animals that could otherwise be a threat to the small birds.
There is ample evidence that birds seek protection from enemies by settling near other birds or animals that can defend them. Of course, they risk the 'protector getting paid' for the work by taking some of their pups, but the benefits can still be worth the price if you only lose a few pups and not the whole litter.
