29th March
All well on the nest, Male's shift (the time stamp right)
Again, generously given information on the DOF chat which I want to share (GT):
Many types of feathers on each bird
Written by Ole Friis Larsen on March 29, 2021 at 06.49
The sea eagles have the same plumage all year round. There is not a particular 'winter coat' of down that is thrown away in the summer. The young on the nest throw away their down suit as they get a real plumage before flying from the nest, but this is due to their development and has nothing to do with changing seasons.
Feathers are worn by wind, weather, contact with soil and branches and by everything else. That is why the eagles change part of their plumage every year. It goes a little staggered for females and males. Although the male participates in the hatching, it is the female who takes the opportunity to start her felling early and get a lot of it over while she cares for eggs and young, and it is mostly the male who has to fly out. hunting. Therefore, the male also waits very conveniently to shed until later in the spring and over the summer.
And then there is the down: Every bird has many types of feathers. This also applies to eagles - from large wing and tail feathers to downy small feathers, which have no effect on their ability to fly, but instead must keep the body warm and dry, just like the fur of a dog or cat. The eagles can move the many small feathers on the body - in the same way that we can raise the hairs on the body and get goosebumps. In birds, it is just the opposite. They can raise their feathers a little when they relax on a branch or on the ground in good weather, so that air and a little coolness enters the body. Therefore, a relaxed bird will often look slightly larger than a tense or frightened bird that lays its feathers close to its body. In addition, they can 'inflate themselves' if they become very agitated or angry, and would like to appear extra large to scare an enemy or rival away. One can thus to some extent read a bird's state of mind on the plumage.

albicilla,
hope Romme doesn't disturb coming hatchings
The dirt on her beak is almost gone
She stood up for a second and it looked that the eggs were still whole at ab 16:33 cam time (ab 17:45 LK time)
WRONG, THERE IS A BIG HOLE IN AN EGG AND THE CHICK MOVED ALREADY - shift change
And what about the other egg? Is there a straw or a crack?

They write on the screen that it is the male incubating now

[
Det er hannen der ruger nu.] [later hunnen = the female]
Tomorrow there will be a bobblehead

Thanks
albicilla, I happened just to open my computer seconds later you took the capture
Mamicja, the hole looks very much similar to the one that was seen last night - I think it could be the same one, but developing slowly, maybe the chick took a sleep for the night
With that size of a hole it is possible to turn the eggs so that the hole is not visible, that would explain the views between here.
- like just in here
