Head feather pattern is the same as yesterdays female....she seems preoccupied...maybe that would explain the quiet reserved attitude so far today....I like this bird...shes full of fire....if Madis does not accept her someone else will....shes fiesty....

could well be the same Oksana - I did not see her "live" yesterday so should not try to evaluate.

6:25

Madis returns with more branches, Oxana talks to him for a few moments, then Madis leaves

Edit: Is it Oxana or Oksana? I like Oksana better, but I think whoever suggested the name spelled it Oxana. Maybe she will not be here long enough to decide?

6:53
Oxana is rearranging the sticks, tidying up the nest, and making herself comfortable.

6:59 and she is being very noisy again, calling constantly and loudly.

Yes, more yelling and yelling
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Maybe she is disappointed that all he wants to give her is a fish.

Hey, Madis came back with a fish, Oxana grabbed it and tried to kick him out! He left immediately...
The same as yesterday:
Oxana fast eating the fish and complaning loudly at the same time..

Oxana suddenly left the nest, with the fish...? seems like, yes, - she came back, eating and complaining loudly again...
Madis came back as well, sitting on the other side of the nest now... quiet, as usual
A strange passion is moving in my head, my heart has become a bird which searches in the sky.

She is driving me crazy, too. Apparently, she would rather just get fish and snap at Madis than mate with him.

Come on, Piret, get yourself in gear and get home!!!!

O. T.: NancyM, which time do you use for documentation...? - Oh, I see... "nest-time", which is different from "Forums-time"!

Nest is empty...! :puzzled: and stays empty...
Madis and Oxana arrived, one after another, at 6:30 Forums-Time
(maybe they quickly mated somewhere else, that we can't tell Piret... :whistling: )
