This morning around 11:22:19 (UTC+3), Waba decided to fly on and to continue its journey northwest.
She/he crossed the river Tisa and is currently in the fields just south of Tószeg.
Tószeg is a village in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county, in the Northern Great Plain region of central Hungary.
The Tisza, Tysa or Tisa, is one of the major rivers of Central and Eastern Europe. Once, it was called "the most Hungarian river" because it flowed entirely within the Kingdom of Hungary. Today, it crosses several national borders. ...
The Tisza has a rich and varied wildlife. Over 200 species of birds reside in the bird reserve of Tiszafüred. The flood plains along the river boast large amounts of diverse plant and animal life. In particular, the yearly "flowering" of the Tisza is considered a local natural wonder. The flowering attracts vast numbers of mayflies which is a well known spectacle.
In September 2020, colonies of magnificent bryozoans were discovered in the river.
Waba is in Hungary and moved on to the north. S/He spent the night near Ösöd, and at the time when the tracking data have been sent he was just crossing the river Tisza .
The Tisza (Hungarian Tisza; Serbian Тиса Tisa; Romanian and Slovak Tisa; Ukrainian Тиса Tyssa; Latin as border river Dakiens Tissus, Tisia or Pathissus) is a Central European river. At 966 kilometers it is the longest tributary of the Danube (after the Sava, but ahead of the Inn and Drava, the second most water-rich in terms of flow and discharge with an average of 813 m³/s), as well as the second largest river in Hungary and Serbia. In addition, at the end of the 19th century, the Tisza was the river with the most fish in Europe.[2] The final Neolithic Tisza culture is named after her.
Bonus is still in Turkey in the area as the days before south of Ahiler at a nice creek.
Today he explored the watercourse a little further and flew a little to the southeast.
Waba was in Hungary and moved on to the north to Slovakia.
He spent the night and the early morning on the banks of the river Tisza. The last tracking point came in flight from a position near the town Tornala in Slovakia.
After making a pretty long excursion in Slovakia, almost until Poprad, Waba decided to return to Hungary.
Poprad is a city in northern Slovakia at the foot of the High Tatra Mountains, famous for its picturesque historic centre and as a holiday resort. It is the biggest town of the Spiš region and the tenth largest city in Slovakia, with a population of approximately 50,000.
S/he is currently a little south of Kisköre, looking for food in and near the river Tisa.
Waba has been here before. S/he flew a nice and big loop.
